Meet India, a dynamic 22-year-old alumna of Florida A&M University, driven by her passion to revolutionize the world through innovation and education. Her entrepreneurial spirit ignited at 14 when she developed a business plan for a “natural care” brand based on DIY products she made for her eczema prone skin. By 16, she became the proud owner of Synai Symone LLC. By 18, she successfully launched five natural haircare products and now, at 22, the brand includes 11 products tailored to kinky, curly, coily and loc textures.

Synai Symone is More Than A Haircare Brand

In February 2025, I was faced with an ultimatum. My dream corporate job or the brand I built at 14. I chose Synai Symone, without question, because this isn’t just a "little haircare busienss." It’s a movement. A love letter to Black hair in all its forms. A commitment to keeping the Black beauty dollar circulating within our community. A vision where every style is honored, whether you’re natural, transitioning, permed, protective style, a buss down baddie, bald, bearded, or color treated. I imagine a world where haircare is made for us, by us, and where we celebrate the beauty in our texture and styling choices.

Imagine a world where we not only embrace our roots, but celebrate the beauty of switching things up from time to time. A world where we don’t shame individuals for cutting their hair, straightening it, loc'ing it up, shaving it off, or rocking a fro. A world where our children grow up knowing the beauty of their strands without feeling pressured to fit a societal image. Imagine a haircare brand you can turn to no matter the style you’re wearing. That’s what I envision for Synai Symone. That’s why I went all in.

"Though I have always been a D-I-Y fanatic, this brand truly came into play after I discovered many of the harmful and misleading processes that take place in the haircare industry. I knew right then that I wanted to not only create a line that was completely transparent and catered towards our needs, but a platform that could help educate our community...  After a year and a half of intricate testing and perfection, I am very excited share our Repair and Restore Complex with the world."
